CEVA Logistics, a subsidiary of the CMA CGM Group, is enhancing its services by integrating Bolloré Logistics. This move aims to improve customer service and offer comprehensive logistics solutions across air, ocean, ground, and rail transport. CEVA expects to complete the rebranding by the end of 2024.
By acquiring Bolloré Logistics, CEVA will significantly increase its scale in air and ocean freight. CEVA, which employs 110,000 worldwide, transported 1.9 million TEUs of ocean freight and 800,000 tons of air freight in 2023. The integration will streamline operations and enhance product development.
The new organization will align product teams vertically, enabling quicker response to customer needs and innovation. CEVA is also merging its Air and Ocean operations to optimize best practices and technology investments.
CEVA has expanded its capabilities and reach since its 2019 acquisition by the CMA CGM Group. Recent acquisitions include Ingram Micro’s CLS division, GEFCO, and now Bolloré Logistics. These additions strengthen CEVA’s network and service offerings.
“CEVA Logistics is moving to a vertical, product-driven organization that will benefit our team and our customers as we compete among the Top 5 of the logistics industry,” said CEVA Logistics CEO Mathieu Friedberg. “The vision we put in place for CEVA with the support of the CMA CGM Group is taking its final form. Our ability to innovate and collaborate with our customers to improve their global supply chains through truly end-to-end solutions is unmatched in some market segments.”
