Optilogic and GM Form Partnership to Improve Supply Chain Efficiency

The platform will enable GM to solve complex design problems, improve efficiency, and collaborate globally in real-time

Supply chain design software firm Optilogic announced a partnership with General Motors to implement Optilogic's proprietary Cosmic Frog system within its Customer Care and Aftersales (CCA) organization. This collaboration will improve logistical efficiency and accuracy by solving complex supply chain design problems at the SKU level.

The partnership will enable GM to analyze its entire supply chain network, from customers and suppliers to individual parts with unique SKUs. Using Cosmic Frog, GM will democratize decision-making globally, allowing for real-time collaboration and co-creation of supply chain design models.

With Cosmic Frog, GM will have up-to-date access to results and the ability to create new models and run various scenarios quickly. This will significantly reduce the time needed to see anticipated results, from days or months to just hours.

GM's selection of Optilogic's solution demonstrated the strength of its supply chain design team, which is one of the largest centers of excellence in the world. The team has tested numerous solutions and ultimately chose Optilogic's innovative approach.

“It's a privilege and an honor to have been selected by GM, and the entire Optilogic team is committed to our customers' success,” added Optilogic CEO and Founder Don Hicks.
