DP World Launches International Air Freight Service

The new service is expected to streamline global supply chains, reducing costs and transit times

DP World has launched its international air freight forwarding service, marking a significant milestone with the arrival of its first charter flight at Jorge Chávez Airport in Lima, Peru. The flight originated from Miami and carried 200 cubic meters of machinery from Luxembourg. The new service highlights the potential of air freight in modern logistics.

The new air freight service complements DP World Logistics' existing maritime solutions, offering a variety of logistics options. This integrated approach is designed to maximize time and efficiencies for global traders, providing a one-stop solution for all logistics needs. The company holds international IATA certification, ensuring it meets industry best practices and safety standards.

According to the National Superintendence of Customs and Tax Administration (SUNAT), air transport in Peru mobilized significant volumes of exports and imports in 2023. This new service by DP World enhances the national and global logistics landscape, positioning the company as a 360° logistics operator capable of managing various logistics challenges.

With a network of offices in over 80 countries across multiple continents, DP World is set to offer unmatched logistical advice and solutions. The company's expansion of its service offerings is expected to have a profound impact on global supply chains, driving down costs and transit times for clients worldwide.
