Sportswear brand On and Verity, an AI and robotics company, announced a strategic partnership to improve warehouse operations and inventory management.
The collaboration will utilize Verity's autonomous drones for real-time inventory tracking, minimizing stockouts, misplacements, and shrinkage. This technology aims to ensure flawless order fulfillment for retail and e-commerce.
On, one of the fastest-growing sportswear brands, has chosen Verity for its expertise in AI and robotics. Verity’s system performs millions of autonomous inventory checks each month in over 80 warehouses globally.
This partnership between the two Swiss brands aims to improve product availability at On's physical stores and online, increasing successful order fulfillment rates and reducing operational issues. Verity’s clients have seen operational issue rates drop from 5-12% to less than 1%, significantly enhancing labor efficiency.
“We are excited to partner with Verity to transform our supply chain operations,” said Caspar Coppetti, Co-Founder and Executive Co-Chairman at On. “By leveraging innovative technological solutions, we aim to improve our operations' efficiency, become more sustainable, and enhance customer satisfaction.”
Currently, Verity's drones are operational at a US facility, scanning On products daily to ensure full stock availability. This initiative is also reducing CO2 emissions linked to warehousing, with an average reduction of 1,000 tons of CO2 per warehouse each year.
“The collaboration of two pioneering Swiss brands can only mean an explosion of innovation!” Coppetti added.
