Starbucks Partners with Grubhub for Nationwide Delivery

Delivery will begin in select markets in June and expand nationwide by August

Starbucks and Grubhub have partnered to offer Starbucks delivery in the U.S. Starting in June, the service will launch in select markets in Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Illinois, with national availability expected by August 2024.

“Customer demand to get Starbucks delivered continues to increase, as evidenced by double-digit growth in the U.S. delivery business this past quarter, indicating that our customers continue to want convenience in their everyday lives,” Starbucks VP of Digital Experiences Meg Mathes said. “Our new partnership with Grubhub will help fuel this growth by increasing the availability of Starbucks products to Grubhub’s tens of millions of customers, via a leading delivery provider.”

“By joining forces with a beloved national brand like Starbucks, we’re offering customers more of what they want on Grubhub while strengthening our enterprise offering and growing our merchant supply in markets nationwide,” said Liz Bosone, VP of Enterprise Partnerships at Grubhub.

Starbucks Delivery will be accessible through the Grubhub mobile app and website, allowing customers to track their orders from preparation to drop off. Starbucks has developed packaging solutions, including two-cup to-go trays and improved shopper bags, to ensure quality and ease of delivery.

Most of the Starbucks menu, including seasonal items, will be available for delivery, with customization options similar to in-store orders. Grubhub+ members will enjoy benefits such as $0 delivery fees on eligible orders and lower service fees.
