Last-mile delivery specialist Jitsu has announced its expansion into the Detroit Metro area with the opening of a sortation center in Highland Park, Michigan. The expansion marks Jitsu's presence in 23 major U.S. metro areas.
“Jitsu’s expansion into Detroit is a direct result of the feedback we’ve received from the brands we serve and their need for improved last-mile delivery capabilities in the Detroit Metro area. This expansion is key to our momentum within the midwest region while also reflecting Jitsu’s dogged determination to respond to our customers' needs,” said Jitsu CEO Raj Ramanan. “In addition, Detroit is part of a community-driven redevelopment project. By extending our last-mile delivery services into Detroit, we are able to capitalize on the synergies between the Detroit market and our existing presence in Chicago.”
Jitsu has been growing rapidly, helping major brands improve their delivery services. The company uses advanced AI-powered technology to achieve a high on-time delivery rate, which has been beneficial for brands like American Eagle, HelloFresh, and Nespresso. A recent survey by Jitsu and Coresight Research found that faster delivery options significantly boost customer satisfaction and repeat purchases.
With this new facility in Detroit, Jitsu aims to enhance its delivery capabilities, supporting brands in providing better service to their customers. The company’s efforts to integrate into community-driven redevelopment projects further highlight its commitment to supporting local growth.
