Nippon Express has introduced a new air transport service, “NX-FORWARDING - AIR - Ohio Midnight Express,” designed to expedite cargo deliveries to Ohio and neighboring regions from Japan's Chubu Centrair International Airport.
Ohio, a key industrial state in the U.S., hosts numerous automotive and other industries, creating a growing demand for urgent cargo transport. Traditionally, cargo bound for Ohio was routed through Chicago's O'Hare Airport. However, recognizing the need for faster delivery, Nippon Express has developed a high-speed service utilizing the closer Cincinnati Airport, significantly reducing transit times.
The “NX-FORWARDING - AIR - Ohio Midnight Express” service is optimized for speed, with cargo departing from Chubu Airport in the evening and arriving in Cincinnati late the same night. Upon arrival, shipments are quickly handled by NX USA's Columbus Branch, ensuring prompt distribution within Ohio.
Nippon Express operates an international cargo facility at Chubu Airport and has a facility in Columbus, enabling seamless same-day delivery across Ohio. This service integration reduces lead time by approximately one day compared to previous methods. Additionally, deliveries can be extended to nearby states like West Virginia, enhancing the service's reach.
